Michael Turcotte
Chairman
Michael Turcotte is a local Chiropodist/Foot Specialist who is dedicated to many local charities. Michael has been committed to many organizations for many years. He served as Cornwall's Hospital Board Chair for many years, was president of The Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine, and was a board member of Rachel's Kids. Michael has also coached for 20 years in various sports; he was president of Girls Softball for 14 years, and is president of Cornwall Girls Hockey.
Michael is passionate about giving back, and has always shown an interest in Halloween. The idea of a Ghost Walk for Charity came from the many years of providing a haunted garage as annual entertainment to the community. Michael has collected many props, animatronics, production ideas, and special effects over the years. His many years of experience will greatly contribute to the production of Cornwall's Ghost Walk for Charity.
Jennifer is a Podiatric Assistant / technician at the Foot and Ankle Clinic and Store Manager at Step Above Footwear. After moving to Cornwall from her hometown of Toronto in 2009, she has developed a ​love and passion for the City of Cornwall. Her father, Michael Turcotte, has been involved in numerous charitable organizations within the community for many years. His drive for philanthropy and adoration for Halloween is contagious. Jennifer has an extensive background in marketing and call centre management for large corporations such as Rogers Wireless, Auto Trader, SkyWords Traffic, Buy & Sell Newspaper and Air Canada Vacations. Her marketing background and attention to detail will be an asset to our team. Jennifer is excited to be a part of the Ghost Walk for Charity and is looking forward to contributing to this spooktacular event.

Ava Turcotte

Ava has been volunteering for the Ghost since she was 11 years old. She has shown a keen interest in Halloween ever since her father, Michael Turcotte, built and designed his haunted garages in her childhood home. Ava is the youngest official executive board member, following into her older sister's and her father's footsteps.
Elisa Tardiff
Director

Elisa was born and raised in Cornwall but has lived in various places across the country. She has had an interest in all arts from a very young age. She attended the University of Ottawa in the Arts and has a diploma in Graphic Design. Elisa has a well-rounded work career, having spent years in the sign making and vehicle graphics business. She was also a Sales Manager in retail for many years and most recently has made the leap into the non-profit sector as a Support Worker.
Elisa sits on the board for a few different non-profits and enjoys being part of her community. She has always had a creative edge that she fosters by always looking for new creative outlets such as crochet, felting, beading, and sewing. Elisa has participated in costume and set design since high school and has been a member of various theatre groups in the city.
Elisa has always had a fascination with the macabre which started with her love of Anne Rice novels and 80’s horror movies and transitioned into True Crime podcasts and fantasy audiobooks. She has volunteered to help build Christmas floats and always makes her kids Halloween costumes by hand as she has a passion for making something from nothing.
Last season Elisa joined the Ghost Walk for Charity as a volunteer and kids face painter. She enjoyed it so much that this year she has been welcomed onto the board. She is very excited to join the team and be able to put her skills to use in a way that will benefit the community.

Aline Gareau Hébert
Director - Volunteer Coordinator
Aline Gareau Hébert is a proud French Ontarian, born in Alexandria, ON, calling Cornwall her home for the past 26 years. She works as a Team Leader for Ottawa EI call centre. She has a background in event coordination and management, as well as being a business owner for over 25 years, as she owned a Costume Shop with over 3000 costumes. She also co-owned a Talent Agency, where she taught acting and modeling. Aline was the organizer of many events in Alexandria and surrounding areas, such as winter carnivals, summer events, parades, hot air balloon festivals, presenting an average of 52 or more shows per year in schools and the community. She worked as a Drama teacher at a local French high school where she created the “Club Octogone”, a youth club that organized school dances, events, and fundraisers. Aline has a passion in theatre, acting, improv, creating and writing. She wrote many plays and movies.
Aline is the co-founder of “Aline and Ron’s Haunted Backyards”, where she created and staged different scenarios such as a Haunted Maze, creepy cemetery, etc.
She is pleased to join the Ghost Walk for Charity team and looking forward to bringing the community a great, haunting experience.
Ron Piette
Director
Ron Piette was born and raised in Cornwall. He always had an interest in Halloween as well as the paranormal.
He have been a professional painter by trade for most of his life, and is currently employed at Longevity Acrylics. Ron is an all-around handy man, he started working construction at a young age.
He is a co-founder of “Aline and Ron’s Haunted Backyards”, where he has built and designed numerous props and scenes, including a haunted maze, a zombie cage, electric chamber, haunted cemetery, mad scientists’ labs and so many more fun and scary attractions. He has also acted as countless characters over the many haunts hosted.

His creative mind and ability to think “outside the box” is always envisioning future haunts, gags and scares.
He is looking forward to working with our diverse team, lending his construction abilities and skills to create and build new and exciting props. Ron is honored to be part of the Ghost Walk for Charity team.
