Michael Turcotte
Chairman
Michael Turcotte is a local Chiropodist and Foot Specialist who has dedicated many years to serving and giving back to the Cornwall community. His commitment to local organizations, charities, sports, and community initiatives has made him a familiar and respected figure throughout the region.
Michael has held numerous leadership roles over the years. He served as Chair of the Cornwall hospital board for many years, was President of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine, and served as a board member with Rachel’s Kids. In recognition of his longstanding dedication and contributions to the community, Michael was honoured as Cornwall’s Citizen of the Year in 2025.
Community involvement has always been a major part of Michael’s life. He has spent 25 years coaching various sports and served as President of Cornwall Girls Softball for 14 years. He currently serves as President of Cornwall Girls Hockey, continuing his commitment to supporting local youth and athletics.
Michael is also passionate about Halloween and creating memorable experiences for the community. The idea for The Ghost Walk for Charity grew from his many years of transforming his garage into a haunted attraction, providing annual Halloween entertainment for family, friends, and community members.
Over the years, Michael has built an impressive collection of props, animatronics, production equipment, special effects, and creative ideas. His enthusiasm for Halloween, combined with his years of experience creating haunted attractions and his passion for community involvement, will be instrumental in bringing Cornwall’s Ghost Walk for Charity to life.
For Michael, The Ghost Walk is about more than scares—it’s another opportunity to bring people together, create something exciting for the community, and most importantly, give back to the causes that matter most to Cornwall and its residents.
Jennifer Turcotte
Director - Secretary
Jennifer is a Podiatric Assistant / technician at the Foot and Ankle Clinic and Store Manager at Step Above Footwear. After moving to Cornwall from her hometown of Toronto in 2009, she has developed a love and passion for the City of Cornwall. Her father, Michael Turcotte, has been involved in numerous charitable organizations within the community for many years. His drive for philanthropy and adoration for Halloween is contagious. Jennifer has an extensive background in marketing and call centre management for large corporations such as Rogers Wireless, Auto Trader, SkyWords Traffic, Buy & Sell Newspaper and Air Canada Vacations. Her marketing background and attention to detail will be an asset to our team. Jennifer is excited to be a part of the Ghost Walk for Charity and is looking forward to contributing to this spooktacular event.

Dana Power
Director
Dana Power is an Insurance Broker with McDougall Insurance and President of the Seaway Valley Spartans, an organization dedicated to creating inclusive sports opportunities for children and youth in the community. She is also involved in Cornwall’s arts community as a judge with Cornwall Community Hospital’s Dancing with the CCH Stars and as a choreographer with Seaway Valley Theatre Company.
Dana is passionate about strong community values and believes in giving back wherever and whenever you can. A lifelong lover of Halloween, she especially loves that it’s the one time of year when you can be whoever—or whatever—you want to be, keeping creativity and imagination alive at any age.
Dana is thrilled to bring a touch of theatrical flair to the Ghost Walk and help add to the imagination, creativity, and magic that makes the experience come alive.
Ava Turcotte
Media Director
Ava has been volunteering for the Ghost since she was 11 years old. She has shown a keen interest in Halloween ever since her father, Michael Turcotte, built and designed his haunted garages in her childhood home. Ava is the youngest official executive board member, following into her older sister's and her father's footsteps.
Aline Gareau Hébert
Director - Volunteer Coordinator
Aline Gareau Hébert is a proud French Ontarian, born in Alexandria, ON, calling Cornwall her home for the past 26 years. She has a background in event coordination and management, as well as being a business owner for over 25 years, as she owned a Costume Shop with over 3000 costumes. She also co-owned a Talent Agency, where she taught acting and modeling. Aline was the organizer of many events in Alexandria and surrounding areas, such as winter carnivals, summer events, parades, hot air balloon festivals, presenting an average of 52 or more shows per year in schools and the community. She worked as a Drama teacher at a local French high school where she created the “Club Octogone”, a youth club that organized school dances, events, and fundraisers. Aline has a passion in theatre, acting, improv, creating and writing. She wrote many plays and movies.
Aline is the co-founder of “Aline and Ron’s Haunted Backyards”, where she created and staged different scenarios such as a Haunted Maze, creepy cemetery, etc.
She is pleased to join the Ghost Walk for Charity team and looking forward to bringing the community a great, haunting experience.
Ron Piette
Director
Ron Piette was born and raised in Cornwall. He always had an interest in Halloween as well as the paranormal.
He have been a professional painter by trade for most of his life, and is currently employed at Longevity Acrylics. Ron is an all-around handy man, he started working construction at a young age.
He is a co-founder of “Aline and Ron’s Haunted Backyards”, where he has built and designed numerous props and scenes, including a haunted maze, a zombie cage, electric chamber, haunted cemetery, mad scientists’ labs and so many more fun and scary attractions. He has also acted as countless characters over the many haunts hosted.
His creative mind and ability to think “outside the box” is always envisioning future haunts, gags and scares.
He is looking forward to working with our diverse team, lending his construction abilities and skills to create and build new and exciting props. Ron is honored to be part of the Ghost Walk for Charity team.
Abbey Bellefeuille
Director
Abbey is a Physiotherapy Assistant at Glen Stor Dun Lodge. With more hours spent as a volunteer than as an employee, Abbey has a huge passion for community involvement. She has spent nearly 10 years volunteering as an on-ice instructor with the Cornwall Girls Hockey Association, and as a reaper for the Ghost Walk since 2019. Abbey is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University. During her time in Hamilton, she served as the timekeeper for McMaster’s women’s hockey team for 3 seasons, was the head athlete liaison for motionball McMaster, and was an athletic tester at events held by the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario. As she has grown older, Abbey has fallen in love with Halloween, horror movies, and true crime documentaries. Her interest in the holiday is evident as she continues to dress up each year for Halloween in DIY costumes. She wishes to use this passion of hers in a meaningful way by giving back to the community this Halloween season.
